GRATE PATROL HELP NEEDED
Delivery of meals on Saturday and Sunday mornings: The Grate Patrol needs new recruits to help deliver approximately 400 breakfasts to homeless persons in downtown Washington each weekend. We meet at 5:45 a.m. in the church parking lot, load food and coffee into two vehicles, follow specific delivery routes and return in about three hours. Newcomers are accompanied by experienced “Patrollers”. This is a great way to spend time with fellow parishioners as well as to make new friends on the street. To volunteer or find out more about the Grate Patrol, please contact Glenn Marsh 703-622-6484 or email@example.com.
FOOD PANTRY DONATIONS
Your gifts of non-breakable, non-perishable items will help keep local families fed. It’s an easy way to make a difference and an ideal way to introduce children to the importance of helping those in need. The donation basket is located at the baptismal font.
