Stewardship + Giving
2026 Stewardship Letter
Dear Friend,
Thank you for being a part of this parish and community. Your presence and offering of time and talent are invaluable, and they carry here a special significance and invitation. Because we lack a substantial endowment, our ministry is truly the work of our people, and our community. We write to ask you to prayerfully consider making an annual financial pledge to the entirety of parish life
This kind of Anglo-Catholic parish, with its tradition of sacred music, is increasingly hard to find; we must take nothing for granted. We are not owners but stewards of this glorious place where we both glimpse God’s glory, and also find a rootedness and community for the entirety of our lives. Our thankfulness and care for this church as a place where God truly dwells is, we pray, tangible, and a testimony in its own right to our faithfulness to God and the Catholic tradition.
Yet we are called to more: from maintenance to mission. A particular hope for 2026 is to focus on formation, especially for newcomers and those seeking confirmation, and improving our personal prayer lives through a School of Prayer, led by Fr Martin Smith. Whatever our particular hope: it all begins on an individual level, with each annual pledge.
For decades and generations, and through faithful and sacrificial stewardship, this community has both maintained this temple to God’s glory and been sent forth to love and serve Our Eucharistic King to the least of all His brethren. Your pledge is not first a building block of an annual budget but a prophetic and spiritual commitment to God. It is the nexus between generosity, gratitude, and vision. Our church relies on your pledge, and the participation of each and every parishioner; no pledge is too small.
Stewardship is a joyful part of Christian discipleship. We warmly invite you to pledge via the button above.
Faithfully,
The Rev. Richard Wall Katherine Britton
Rector Senior Warden
